We are looking to expand our Cyber Risk team by hiring a Trainee Risk Engineer in Madrid. We are seeking a skilled and structured person who is studying, or has knowledge in cybersecurity, and with a passion to work in the field of cyber risk.

About The Team
Based in Madrid, you will become part of our growing office in Spain. You will work internationally with our Cyber Risk Engineering team, comprising of four experts, in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden.
You will also support with global cyber underwriting and cyber risk analyses across the wider Cyber department.
About The Position
As a part-time student position, the weekly working hours will be approximately 15-20 hours, in our Madrid office.
You will learn about cybersecurity controls in the context of corporate cyber risk management through the lens of our cyber insurance offering. The work tasks are varied and will progress in complexity with your development and desire to learn.
In the position as Trainee Risk Engineer, Cybersecurity, you will work on cyber risk assessments in the context of cyber insurance. You will also have the opportunity to support in driving changes in a fast-growing, ever-changing business environment and cyber insurance marketplace.
The position involves daily contact with colleagues, insurance brokers, and insureds on technical cybersecurity matters. You must be service minded and able to communicate security challenges and cyber risks clearly.

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and entrepreneurial individual that wants to contribute to a team vision of growth.
We are ideally seeking a university student within the fields of data analytics, computer science, or cyber risk management, with two years (or less) of remaining studies. We are open to other study areas also.
Experience with information technology, information security, and risk assessment are preferred but not required.
We work across borders, so language skills are vital. Speaking and writing a high level of Spanish and English is a must. Other languages are a plus.
