We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Tester to join our dynamic and ambitious IT team at the RiskPoint Group.

You will take part in all of our IT projects and work closely with both the developers and the business. To ensure high quality of business critical IT solutions, you will be working with manual as well as automated tests.

About the position

As our new Software Tester, your primary areas of responsibility will be to test and ensure quality as well as to update and further develop the test as the applications in the area are updated with new functionalities. This can involve user interface solutions and/or heavy backend solutions with many integrations and dependencies.

In addition, you will become responsible for reporting and following up on the errors that the conducted tests reveal.

The role includes a high share of data analysis as well as daily contact and communication with your colleagues from other internal teams, contractors, and outsourced vendors. Communication in this role is both online, via phone, and in person. Sometimes the in-person communication will require travel to the countries of our colleagues or stakeholders.

Examples of responsibilities include:

• Sparring with the IT team to ensure the need, the test scope, and assessment of the test quality.
• Ensure the testability of the user stories that you have created.
• Build, maintain, and create an overview of test results.
• Perform performance, end-to-end tests, regression tests, and integration tests.
• Build and maintain test environments with test data necessary for the test for e.g., integration to external and internal test systems and/or with the use of mocks.
• Further develop and establish our test framework including our test governance, test strategies, and related components.

This position is located at our office in central Copenhagen. Current residency in the country of Denmark together with work and residency permit needs to be in place before applying.

We hope you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience as a tester in an agile development team.
• Knowledge within BDD and/or TDD, Leapwork
• Experience with Cypress, Jest, Cucumber, Vitest, Geb, Postman, Spock
• Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Elasticsearch
• Experience with GIT, Jira, or any similar
• Certifications in test analysis, test design, test techniques, or equivalent
• Ability to assess when specific types of tests should be carried out and which tools should be used.

However, the most important attribute is your attitude and dedication to the job.

We work across borders, so language skills are vital. Speaking and writing high level Danish and English is a must and a understanding of other Nordic languages is a plus.
