We are looking to expand our Renewable Energy department in the Nordics with a Junior Underwriter, who has a keen interest in joining us in growing our portfolio. The focus of the role will be on the construction and operation of projects in the wind and solar segments, as well as within battery storage and emerging technologies such as hydrogen and carbon capture.

About the team
Based in Stockholm, you will become part of our growing local team, whilst working closely with six Renewable Energy underwriters across the Nordics. Our Nordic Renewable Energy team collaborates with the wider Renewable Energy team, comprising 30 experts across 9 countries.
We collaborate cross country, sharing and transferring latest market knowledge and updates. Our department is organized via its product offerings, and we have regular Teams calls in-person meetings, trainings and seminars to continue strengthening the department as a whole.
About the position
As our new Junior Underwriter, Renewable Energy you will help organize and manage our Nordic Renewable Energy portfolio, with primary focus on Sweden and Finland. The position can also lead to the opportunity to develop into an Underwriter, and in time, a Senior Underwriter.
We are looking for someone who is service minded and enjoys building relationships with diverse people and cultures, as the position involves daily communication with insurance brokers and end customers.

Examples of responsibilities include:
- Administrating policies within the Renewable Energy portfolio, including bookings in our underwriting system and producing policies and invoices
- Working, analyzing, and evaluating risk together with skilled and experienced Renewable Energy underwriters
- Quoting, negotiating, and closing business deals
- Interacting with brokers and insurance carriers

- A suitable educational background and bachelor’s degree, preferably within the fields of engineering, business administration, or finance
- Ability to handle complex tasks with strong interpersonal, administrative, and analytical skills
- Enthusiasm to contribute to the continued profitable growth and success of our Renewable Energy business
- An entrepreneurial spirit to drive business forward
- Trustworthy and helpful, taking responsibility and thriving with increasing levels of independence
- Speaking and writing fluently in Swedish and English. Understanding of Finnish is a plus
