The RiskPoint Group is working on a major digitization project and a new insurance policy system. We therefore need a new team member to take responsibility for translating existing business processes and configuring those in our new system as well as further developing our business processes and IT systems.

The RiskPoint Group is a global Managing General Underwriter (MGU) providing best-in-class insurance solutions backed by the insurance companies we act on behalf of.
You will become part of our growing team, working with other IT specialists in both Denmark & the UK. The IT team is part of our Finance & Operations department, comprising 28 colleagues within their respective fields.
We operate in an agile organization with close cross-border cooperation across all business lines. The finance department reaches out to the whole company and makes sure everything runs smoothly from a financial point of view.

About the position
As our new IT Business Analyst, you will be ensuring an exceptional service experience for our IT projects and system users by swiftly and effectively responding to and resolving IT incidents, events, requests, and queries. The role includes investigating and resolving complex, challenging, and urgent IT issues while looking for opportunities. Furthermore, the role will function as a very strong link between the company’s business areas and our IT department.
There will be a large degree of different types of analytical work including analyzing vast amounts of data that requires organized working methods and good follow-up procedures. You will need a self-starter, pro-active, and result-oriented attitude and require little need for supervision. However, the ability to work independently should not diminish your strong team-player spirit as we work as ONE team, who is always there for one another.
The position involves daily contact with colleagues from different teams, contractors, and outsourced vendors. You must therefore be service minded, enjoy building relationships, plus thrive in communicating online, on the phone, and in-person with many different people. In some scenarios, the in-person communication will require some travel.

As this position requires handling complex tasks and technical difficulties, we hope you possess knowledge relevant to the IT application support function. We furthermore also hope that you have workflow or configuration management experience.
We expect you to have an academic degree in Information Technology or other relevant studies within the scope of this position.
Moreover, the position requires a trustworthy and helpful candidate, who enjoys taking responsibility and thrives with increasing levels of independence. If you have a good eye for details even in a fast paced environment that would also be ideal. We hope that you can tick off most of the following bullets:
- I possess knowledge and experience in a single or a broad range of technologies (e.g. SQL, .NET, JavaScript, PHP).
- I have excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills .

- I am experienced in Microsoft Business Central
- I have knowledge of business analysis.
- I am experienced in working in a matrix managed environment with mixed teams including contractors and outsourced vendors.

Since we work cross-borders, language skills are vital. Speaking and writing a very high level of English is a must, and knowing one of the local language of the country you will be placed in are preferable for the integration of the workplace.
