We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Distribution, Denmark to become a vital part of our Danish team. In this key role, you will be responsible for creating new business opportunities for RiskPoint, especially through our digital platform. Your focus will be on driving sales and establishing a strong pipeline by forging strategic partnerships and enhancing our presence in the market. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to oversee the transition of our partners from our current digital underwriting platform to our new enhanced version that allows them to quickly and easily service themselves to a wide range of our products. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth upgrade process while driving market growth and engagement.

About the team
Our Group office is located in central Copenhagen, home to approximately 120 employees, covering both Group functions and local functions related to the Danish market and business.
You will become part of our Business Development team, comprising eight experts specializing in distribution, digital distribution, and marketing and communications. You will also work closely with the Danish country manager and our different lines of business, with interaction across the entire company.
About the Position
As our Head of Distribution, Denmark, your primary responsibilities will include driving sales and cultivating strategic partnerships. You will collaborate with existing partners to enhance engagement and usage of our platform while actively seeking opportunities to expand our market reach.
Your role will involve guiding partners through the transition to our enhanced platform, ensuring seamless integration and sustainable growth. You will be expected to build trust within the organization and become proficient in our products. Leading the transformation for our users will require engaging in close dialogue, providing them with insights and support. Furthermore, you will collaborate with our partners to evaluate and enhance our joint success, effectively implementing strategies to achieve shared goals. Being a strong representative of our values is key in all these endeavors.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Drive platform adoption: Develop strategies to transition users to our enhanced platform, collaborating with them to boost engagement and maximize platform usage
- Develop new partnerships: Identify and grow strategic partnerships within the Danish market, aligning with our growth objectives
- Partner support: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners, serving as the primary contact for platform-related needs
- Market analysis and strategy: Conduct ongoing market analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, informing strategic decisions and enhancing our approach
- Sales and presentation: Present tailored proposals to potential partners, highlighting platform benefits, and securing new opportunities
- Performance monitoring and reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and identify areas for improvement, fostering a culture of continuous growth, and dedication

The right person for this position will have substantial experience within the insurance industry, along with a deep understanding of the Danish insurance landscape and its specific market dynamics.
Ideally, you will have a proven track record of success in partner-facing roles, with the ability to build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships. A strong network within the Danish insurance sector and related industries will be advantageous, providing opportunities for strategic partnerships and growth.
We hope you have:
- Solid understanding of technology and its application within the insurance sector
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proven success in articulating insurance and IT technical solutions to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to immerse yourself in our product palette and present it to relevant stakeholders
- A willingness to manage a demanding travel schedule with multiple days on the road each week
- IDD certified in Denmark on area 3 (commercial) or 7 (broker)
- A strong understanding of sales psychology and user behavior
- A proactive approach to market analysis and an ability to keep abreast of market trends and competitor activity
- A self-motivated and results-oriented attitude
- Ability to identify partner needs and influence decision-making processes
- Ability to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to platform usage
- A strong alignment with our company’s values, which demonstrate a professional, ethical, and collaborative work environment
- Excellent written and oral fluency in both English and Danish
