About the team

Our legal function, part of our Operations team, serves as a Group function, supporting all 16 countries in which the RiskPoint Group operates. We specialize in legal advice, support, and management of the insurance company relationships that are fundamental to our business model.

You will join a small but highly effective team of four legal professionals, each specializing in their respective fields, and working as part of the wider Finance and Operations department.

About the position

As our Delegated Authorities Associate, you will work together with colleagues of the same position to help strengthen our services to the wider RiskPoint Group. You will be drafting agreements with our insurance providers and formalizing agreements with the insurance brokers with whom we have strong relationships with.

You will be responsible for maintaining our internal insurance system with updated agreement standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency to support our underwriters in issuing precise and compliant insurance policies.

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing contracts with insurance companies
  • Ensuring compliance through regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitoring performance of contracts and provide regular reports to management
  • Creating and maintaining contract structures in the internal IT system
  • Supporting the business within various topics, such as regulatory environments, contractual guidance, and more

This position will be based in either our Copenhagen headquarters or our London office, depending on residency, and will involve daily contact with colleagues, contractors, and outsourced vendors.

A great match for us

This position requires strong analytical skills with  exceptional attention to detail. You need to be a proficient user of Microsoft 365, particularly Word and Excel. Additionally, you need to be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, whilst collaboratively working with various departments and teams across different geographics.

You should enjoy building relationships and be a confident communicator. The position also requires occasional international travel to visit other RiskPoint offices, as well as our insurance providers, primarily located in London.

We hope you have:

  • Strong understanding of the insurance market and agency business, ideally within insurance underwriting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism
  • Adaptability and a strong capability to navigate  a fast changing environment
  • Proficient skills within Microsoft 365

While experience and knowledge are important factors, the right attitude and willingness to learn are paramount.

Current residency in either Denmark or the United Kingdom, together with work and residency permit, needs to be in place before applying.

Since we work across borders, language skills are vital. A very high level of written and spoken English is essential, and knowledge of the local language in the country where you will be based is preferable for workplace integration.
