We are looking for a university student to take up the position as an Assistant Underwriter and join us for a part-time position at our Stockholm office.
Who are we?
RiskPoint is a global Managing General Underwriter (MGU), providing best-in-class insurance solutions backed by the insurance companies we act on behalf of.
You will become part of our growing Financial Lines team within our Liabilities department that counts a total of 60 experts within their respective fields. We offer insurance solutions to medium and large-sized Swedish companies that cover e.g., Directors & Officers, Professional Indemnity, and Crime.
We operate in an agile organization with close cross-border cooperation across all business lines.

About the position
In this role, you will be providing underwriting support, which entails carrying out administrative tasks of various nature. You will also be providing financial and risk analyses used for decision making.
We will introduce you to and teach you about insurance and our insurance offerings. Your work tasks will vary and start out gently but increase along with your development and desire to learn.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Legal and financial risk analysis
- Quotation
- Police issuance
- Revision and development of insurance conditions
- Ongoing administrative tasks
A great match for us
We are looking for an individual with a keen interest in contributing to underwriting Liability insurances especially focusing on Financial Lines products. Experience and interest in the following fields is be beneficial but not a requirement:
- Financial analysis
- Risk assessment
- Analysis of contractual terms
- Sales and business administration
We expect you to be on the final years of your university studies, preferably within the fields of business administration, finance, or law. However, we are also open to other backgrounds.
You should be a team player with a service minded, pro-active attitude towards handling complex tasks, as well as you should possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. We expect you to speak and write a very high level of Swedish and English.
