The RiskPoint Group Launches Brussels Branch Office

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our operations with a new Belgian branch office and welcome Valérie Wauters who joined RiskPoint in July as our new Cyber Manager in Belgium, working out of the Brussels office as an integrated part of the RiskPoint Cyber team. Valérie will join our existing team in Belgium, comprising Renewable offshore wind, Financial Lines as well as Human Resources and country representation.

Since launching her career in 2005 as a Financial Lines Underwriter at one of the largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance companies, Valérie has gathered close to 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Since 2018, Valérie has specialized in underwriting cyber risks in Belgium and Luxembourg alongside leading a team of underwriters focused on SME business. Throughout her career Valérie has underwritten both large complex risk and large SME portfolios, which brings a wealth of knowledge that will be a great asset to RiskPoint. Our focus will be to launch our prime offering in Belgium during autumn.
