RP Underwriting Partners With Arch Specialty Insurance Company and Launches in North America
Following the recent onboarding of our M&A insurance team in the Americas, we are pleased to announce that RP Underwriting (an affiliate of RiskPoint A/S) has begun underwriting transactional risk coverage in the United States. Through an underwriting agreement with Arch Specialty Insurance Company* (S&P: A+, A.M. Best: A+, Moody’s: A2), RP Underwriting now has the ability to deploy capacity of up to USD 25m per risk to underwrite and service Representations & Warranties (R&W), Tax Liability, and Contingent Risk insurance products for our global private equity and M&A clients.
This exciting partnership furthers a long-term strategic alliance between Arch and RiskPoint, which have worked collaboratively since RiskPoint’s launch in 2007 in placing complex multi-line risks globally. RP Underwriting is also in advanced discussions with several other leading global specialty insurers to expand our initial capacity in the near-term to create additional strategic value for our key partners.
The RiskPoint Group’s growing global M&A presence now features over thirty dedicated individuals across nine countries, including the United States. With this expanded capability, RiskPoint is poised to be the underwriter of choice for M&A insurance products globally and a market leader in servicing brokers and clients in cross-border transactions.
