RiskPoint Spain Adding Liabilities Underwriter to the Team in Madrid

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the addition of Juan I. Ramallo to our RiskPoint Liabilities team in Spain, effective March 8th 2021. Juan currently resides in Argentina but will move to Spain to live and work in Madrid. He will arrive in Madrid the first week of May 2021.

Juan is a highly skilled insurance professional with extensive experience, having worked with a wide range of Financial Lines products as well as Casualty products, both as an underwriter as well as a broker in several countries around the world. Adding Juan to the Liabilities team in Madrid, RiskPoint can service Iberia within most aspects of Liability insurance, be it Financial Lines or Casualty. The initial focus for RiskPoint Liabilities Spain will be D&O and Cyber on an Excess basis, however with the ambition of expanding our offerings in the future.

RiskPoint underwrites on behalf of multiple, highly rated and well-reputed insurance companies. We offer a strong value proposition based on expertise, flexibility, agility and service. RiskPoint Liabilities already has established operations with Underwriters in the Nordics and Germany. We now add local underwriting resources in Southern Europe, more specifically Spain. Juan’s background will complement the strength of the existing Liabilities team as well as the local M&A and Renewable Energy teams in Spain.
