RiskPoint M&A Promotions
RiskPoint M&A is delighted to announce that Tanya Nash is promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer for M&A Europe, David Moore is promoted to Head of M&A, UK and Nathan Ostrander to Head of M&A, BeneLux.
RiskPoint’s M&A platform has grown substantially during the last few years into a truly global operation with 30 specialist underwriters based in 9 different locations in Europe and the US. The promotion of Tanya Nash, David Moore and Nathan Ostrander is a natural step in the evolution of our M&A team and will facilitate further growth in both our current core and new regions.
Tanya Nash Chief Underwriting Officer for M&A Europe
Tanya joined RiskPoint in 2018, opening RiskPoint’s UK office having previously worked for four years as an M&A underwriter at Neon and Pembroke and for 19 years as a private practice M&A lawyer prior to joining the insurance market. Tanya has been instrumental in developing our UK offering and in driving our underwriting strategy in Europe with our regional leads and wider team. While Tanya will very much continue as a lead UK underwriter, her new role will involve an additional focus on managing underwriting and policy wording initiatives for the wider EMEA team and acting as a central point for coverage discussions and review of contingency risks.
David Moore Head of M&A, UK
David joined RiskPoint in 2018 having previously been an M&A underwriter at Allied World and having previously spent 9 years in private practice as a corporate finance lawyer. David joined Tanya at the opening of the UK office and has been very successful at building and developing strong broker and client relationships with a focus on UK W&I. David will continue to develop and grow our UK offering together with the rest of the UK team.
Nathan Ostrander Head of M&A, BeneLux
Nathan joined RiskPoint in 2018 after more than a decade of private practice at Simpson Thacher (New York), Latham & Watkins (Washington DC) and De Brauw (Amsterdam). He is based in our Amsterdam office with a focus on Benelux transactions and has successfully built out our capabilities and relationships in this region. Nathan will continue to work with Nancy Matos and the rest of the RiskPoint team to strengthen operations in Benelux and beyond. Nathan is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Williams College.
Tanya Nash has been instrumental in developing our UK offering and to the success of our M&A group ever since she joined. I am very excited about Tanya’s new role enhancing and driving our underwriting strategy in Europe together with our regional leads and the wider team. David Moore and Nathan Ostrander have both been key contributors to the development of our UK and BeNeLux regional offerings and I am confident they will thrive in their new roles, helping us to continue to focus and develop our regional markets as we scale and further grow the business.
