The RiskPoint Group Acquires Corvus Underwriting GmbH in Frankfurt
The RiskPoint Group is pleased to announce that it has agreed to acquire Corvus Underwriting GmbH in Frankfurt from Travelers, effective Sept. 1, 2025.

The RiskPoint Group’s acquisition of Corvus Underwriting GmbH from Travelers expands their relationship into cyber insurance and broadens the strategic partnership between the companies. Building on both companies’ established presence in the German market, RiskPoint is uniquely positioned to deliver specialized cyber insurance solutions tailored to the specific needs of German intermediaries and policyholders. Until Sept. 1, RiskPoint will be setting up the full-scale cyber offering with its German Branch to ensure a smooth transition of the existing Corvus activities.
RiskPoint issued its first cyber insurance policy in Denmark in 2017. Eight years in, the company is now scaling its strong expertise in cyber to the German market, ensuring that many more will benefit from effective and affordable cyber insurance solutions.
