RiskPoint Strengthens The Netherlands Offering with Financial Lines
With more than 7 years in operation within the Netherlands, RiskPoint is proud to announce the expansion of our product o ering with financial lines. This move will strengthen our underwriting capabilities and supports our ambition to widening our o ering to the market.
This strategic initiative in financial lines is seen as an important step in our o ering in the Dutch market which will complement our existing Transactional Risk, Onshore Renewable Energy, Construction and Cyber product.
With this strategic move we are also thrilled to announce that we have hired Jona Alblas to become Manager Financial lines, The Netherlands. Jona comes with over 25 years of experience most recently in a similar role with Everest.
Before that he has been into similar roles as a broker and an insurer as well. With this skillset and his hands-on mentality we are happy to welcome him in our team and we think he is more the capable of rolling out this new initiative within the Netherlands.
Jona is joining a strong European team with 35 Financial Lines underwriters covering 12 countries and more than 10,000 policyholders. He will be focusing on traditional Financial Lines within Financial Institutions and Commercial lines. Furthermore he will also be focusing on more niche o erings such as multinational D&O program capabilities and combined PI/Cyber product tech companies. All while delivering best in class service to our brokers.

Under the leadership of Niklas Theter, we have built a fantastic team and a strong Financial Lines offering to the market primarily in the Nordics. The ability for RiskPoint to expand the current offering in the Dutch market and hire Jona is a true testament to the local market and the strength of the RiskPoint brand.
